The G.V. Centre for Performing
Arts was born out of a casual chat between five friends. They
soon turned what began as a casual topic for discussion into
a reality. The G.V. Centre for Performing Arts was born.

G.
V. Centre for Performing Arts, a non profit organisation,
was established in July 2001, to give the citizens of Coimbatore
an opportunity to savour art in its diverse forms.
|

Be it dance, theatre or
music, the Centre aims to bring the best in quality and style
from India and abroad, to Coimbatore. We want the art lover
in you - in children - in students - in everyone to come and
enjoy. |

Eventually we wish to set up a cultural centre which will teach,
nurture and encourage the Performing Arts. |

JAISHREE VARADARAJ : |

Ms. Jaishree Varadaraj,
daughter of late Sri. G. Varadaraj is the Founder Member
of the Trust. She is the Director of Rajshree
Automotive Limited,
CAI Industries Limited, Rajshree Sugars and Chemicals
Limited, and Aloha Travels.
A multi-faceted person, her hobbies include Performing
Arts, Vedic chanting, meditation and yoga, scuba diving,
reading, music and people. |

RAJINI VARADARAJAN

Ms. Rajini Varadarajan, is the Director
of Aloha Travels, GEM / Telergon Switchgears Pvt. Ltd.
and Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. She is also a Trustee
of Green Guardian Trust, whose main activities are Conducting
BhagavadGita, Chanting Competitions, Conducting Workshops
& Creating Environmental Awareness in schools. Her
interests and hobbies include reading, music, travelling,
scuba diving, golf and performing arts. |
